About Spear...

After studying architecture, Corentin Spear (1988) traveled the world and created numerous murals in more than twenty countries. His travels allowed him to become aware of different social realities, to open his eyes to the human condition throughout the world and to question our lifestyles and values. His work is for him a way to share his thoughts and questions about today's society. Always imbued with a social message, Spear's paintings place the human being, as an emotional being, at the heart of a society that tends to lose its human values.

Corentin Spear is fascinated by the Old Masters, their techniques, and the incredible narrative power of their paintings. But he is also deeply inspired by contemporary artists. His work marks a transition from academic training to contemporary representation, moving from controlled realism to more spontaneous and deconstructed painting.

Committed and convinced that we can all take action to change the world we live in, Spear launched the "Painted For Them" project in 2012. This charitable project aims to help people in need and break down prejudices. It focuses on three areas: human interaction, artistic creation, and the ambition to change mentalities.
